Statement of Purpose, Role and Scope
Purpose
The Natural Gas Program Advisory Committee provides input to the Institute Director on content and format of natural gas programs and events. The Committee may also assist in program development and speaker recruitment.
Role
The Natural Gas Program Advisory Committee assists the Director in developing the Institute's natural gas programs and events. This assistance is usually given via semi-annual meetings, phone conferences or e-mail. The Committee provides feedback and advice on proposed programs, assists with program content and format for individual programs, and may also provide assistance in speaker recruitment and program development. The Director may also seek feedback and advice from this Committee on an ad hoc or informal basis when needed.
Scope
The Committee is responsible for providing advice and guidance to the Director. When it is mutually agreed, the Committee or a member of the Committee may provide additional services to the Director such as making a presentation at a conference, chairing a session, or assisting with promotional activities.
